The Eagles’ defensive back picture became a little clearer on Wednesday morning, with the team releasing veteran corner Ron Brooks.
Brooks opened last season as the team’s slot corner, and performed poorly in the role before suffering a season-ending injury.
The move bodes well for Patrick Robinson’s roster chances. Since the acquisition of Ronald Darby, Robinson has been moved to the slot and has reportedly fared much better there than he had on the outside.
