It’s one of the plays that the nation is talking about because Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz played Houdini in front of a national television audience. On third down and eight yards to go, Wentz dropped into the pocket and seemed to be getting sacked, then out of nowhere, he burst out of the pile and took off downfield.
Wentz ran for 17 yards to a key first down. After the first down, Wentz continued the march downfield with the game on the line. He eventually connected with slot receiver Nelson Agholor on a slant route and a touchdown.
It’s a play which Wentz will be known for, for years to come.
MEH…not that big a deal…not that good..just middle of the road. Nothing special.
Keep scrambling and running for first downs.
