The Skins have signed cornerback DeAngelo Hall to a six year $54 million dollar deal with $22.5 of it guaranteed.
The Dallas Cowboys are trying to find someone who wants veteran safety Roy Willams who is so poor in pass coverage that he couldn't cover a table if you handed him a table cloth. Williams is a linebacker stuck in a safety's body.
It looks like Bartimore Ravens linebacker Bart Scott may wind up in New York with Rex Ryan and Ray Lewis will probably stay in Baltimore. It's leaning that way but still not definite. The Ravens have a put a 3 year $24 million dollar offer on the table for Lewis.
Tampa Bay is said to be eyeing Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma and Steelers receiver Nate Washington.
Colts Pro Bowl center Jeff Saturday inked a 3 year deal. He was headed to the free agent market but will remain with the Colts.
Ravens Guard/CenterJason Brown is scheduled to visit the St. Louis Rams on Friday and at teh same time defensive end Chris Canty of the Cowboys is headed to Washington to visit the Skins.
Brown is a hot commodity right now, so it will be very interesting to see which teams he decides to visit. He's not a great player but right now he's getting the great player treatment as the free agency period starts.
I'm sure the Rams will make him a serious offer while he's in town, in hopes that he will sign the deal before leaving.
The Skins defensive line has been poor for the last few years so it's been no surprise that they would be rumored to be in the Albert Haynesworth chase and they are bringing Canty for a visit.
