The Eagles will be hosting Alabama massive offensive tackle Andre Smith next week as well as highly-regarded big Utah cornerback Sean Smith who stands 6'4".
Smith the offensive tackle could fall much later in the draft than is warranty because he missed the NFL combine and he performed poorly at his Pro Day.
Many of the draft evaluators beleive him to look better on video than the other two top rated tackles, Jason Smith of Baylor and Eugene Monroe of Virginia.
I've heard a number of the so-called experts say that this guy could wind up being the best of the group.
You know that has to have Andy Reid salivating. He loves to draft offensive linemen and he clearly has a need at the left tackle position.
He could fall to the tenth pick in the first round. If he does, expect the Eagles to try to move and get him.
The Birds will talk to him face to face next week.
The fact that the Birds are bringing in a cornerback from Utah is nothing but a smoke screen because there is no way I see the Birds bringing him in.
He would be the biggest cornerback the Eagles would have if they selected him but there's no way it's going to happen..
