Maybe Alabama's Andre Smith wants to get less money in his signing bonus or he wants to play for the Eagles because he fired his agent, Alvin Keels. This another erratic move which could make teams back away from him.
Smith had already scared quite a few teams in the league.
He signed with Keels before Alabama played their bowl game and was ruled ineligible for the game.
During the combine he abruptly left Indianapolis without working out or letting his agent, or the coaches and scouts of teams know he was going to leave. This caused his stock to start falling.
When he was reached the left tackle told everybody he was leaving the combine because he wanted to start preparing for his Pro Day. Unfortunately he had a disappointing workout at his Pro Day.
He was a bit overweight and out of shape during the workout.
Despite these erratic moves he will still be drafted in the first round but he won't go as high as many expected.
That's where the Eagles come in to the picture. They sit at the number one spot in the first round. The Birds could use their extra picks, (two 1st round picks, 12 picks in draft) to move up and select Smith if he falls near the tenth spot.
There was talk about him going number one before he started tripping.
Word is that Smith will hire Ian Greengross as his new representative but he can't do it officially for five days.
The NFLPA requires a player to wait five days after firing an agent before he can acquire a new one.
Here's a shot of him running his 40 yard dash with his man breasts jiggling. Seriously this big boy can play. A lot of offensive line have ugly bodies. Most of the big boys won't walk through the locker room without two or three towels on.
