It's very important from now until the draft that a team's personnel people not get caught into what is circulating in the news media and be focused on the true information they have gathered.
Rumors about teams trading up or trading down, drug use and run ins with the law always surface the closer you get to the draft. Teams can't get caught up into all of the talk and speculation.
Teams must trust the information gathering they have done and not take it for granted that everything they read or hear is true.
From now on until the draft, every story or rumor you read, try to decipher whom the story will help and whom it will hurt. You also want to attempt to figure out where the story came from.
Teams have to be careful about changing where players are on their boards based on last minute reports. They must not get caught up into taking the truthfulness of a story for granted.
This is the way you get suckered.
It's buyer beware for all NFL personnel with regard to the draft picks and the information surrounding them.
