I was checking out the Phillies game, while watching the Mets and the Giants, while checking out the Cavs and the Pistons last night. I'm a master with the remote control.
The Phils game lost my interest early when the fell behind. The only I turned over there,was for the Chase Utley and Ryan Howard at bats. They're going to have a tough time catching the Mets. I turned away from the Mets game figuring they had lost after Beltran grounded out with Reyes on third base and New York trailing by a run. There were two outs and I rationalized that it was over. Later on I saw a replay of Carlos Delgado hitting a home run to win it. The Phils aren't going to catch those guys.
As for LeBron he has come into his own in the last two games against the Pistons. LeBron struggled in the 3rd quarter but lit things up in the 4th quarter. He started taking the Pistons to the hole like another number 23. I felt like I was watching Jordan back in the Nineties. I would schedule everything around his performances in the playoffs. I was enjoying last night's game in much the same way.
On Thursday it'll be like the old days with me sitting on my patio with food and some buddies over. He'll be dealing with another test because we'll see whether he can go to Detroit and dominate.
