Michael Vick received another Comeback Player of The Year award last night at the NFL Players Pulse Awards ceremony in the Dallas area. The awards ceremony was put together by the National Football Players Association and no one was surprised that the Eagles quarterback received the award.
“I want to thank all the fans. This is a tremendous honor, Comeback Player of the Year, to have your peers and fans think highly of you, not only as a football player, but as an individual and for what you stand for. It’s great, it’s awesome and I want to say thank you,” Vick said.”
I’m sure Vick is content to get these Comeback Player of the Year awards, but he wants to get those awards which go to the winners of the Super Bowl.
The runners-up to the award were Wes Welker, Terrell Owens, and LaDainian Tomlinson.

putting everything about our team aside, and focusing on the award-winning michael vick
his first year back in the helmet and cleats and he did better than anyone would have performed
he did miss a few games and slowed down some
but we could have blocked better and he was blitzed like crazy
he was thrown into the fire to run a team, becoming the face of the franchise overnight
he had a system to master on the fly and to improve his “weaknesses” on the fly
he really did an admirable job this season, and next year his skills and play will grow and improve
i think he shied away from running a little too much to prove he can pass from the pocket
(but to be honest someone had to run the ball more, even if the coaches werent gonna call runs)
he is a different type of player, a different type of quarterback
all he has to do is be himself (run or pass, you cant teach instincts)
keep his head in the playbook and watching film
continue working on his pocket presence, get more acclimated to the system
his awesome 2010 comeback season can be at least duplicated or one-upped in 2011

Thats Great ! Glad to hear Vick is being recognized for what he did this year! Now on to some serious news, Just heard the Eagles just talked to John Bunting about the linebackers job, This is great news ! A man with Philly ties Plus experience as a D-Coordinator, This would be perfect ! Just dont understand why its not a done deal yet.
