Report: Michael Vick Selected AP Comeback Player Of The Year

According to Jeff McLane of Philly.com, Michael Vick has been selected at this year’s Associated Press Comeback Player of the Year, which is no surprise to any one.  Vick has been runner up for the MVP award to Tom Brady for a number of organizations and he’s captured a number of Comeback Player of the Year awards.   The official announcement will be made in about 15 minutes.

Vick had the best year of his career statistically.  He has a huge jump in his passer rating.  That rating was above 100 at (100.3).  He completed over 60% of his passes at (62.6).  He went over 3000 yards passing for the season and threw for 21 touchdown passes.

They showed a graft on NFL Network of the voting and it wasn’t even close.  Of the 50 votes for the award, Vick had nearly 29.5 votes.  Mike Williams of Seattle Seahawks had 8 votes and E.J. Henderson of Minnesota Vikings had 3.5 votes.

Way to go 7! Now let’s get that MVP next year. Even though we will never win a championship under Reid and Co. At least you bring excitement and hope every Sunday despite the game plan.

G, Just heard Arizona asked Larry Fitzgerald who he’d like for them to go out and get for a QB, He turned around and said, Mark Bulger or Kevin Kolb, Does that now increase his trade value?
