The Top Ten Defensive Ends In NFL Draft

The Eagles focused on the defensive end position in the 2010 draft. They drafted Brandon Graham with their first pick, Daniel Te’o Nesheim with their third pick and Ricky Sapp with one of their fifth picks.

Graham had surgery on his knee at the end of the season after contributing 3 sacks for the season. Nesheim was a non-factor and spent most of the season on the inactive list. Sapp was on IR and had surgery on his knee.

I ready where Miami’s Allen Bailey is dropping fast after poor Bowl game
and a pretty poor week in MObile versus other top Seniors…

Other top DE’s not on this list

#1) Cameron Heyward -6-5 290 lbs from Ohio State (Late 1st/2nd Rouder)
#2) Christian Ballard- 6-4 295 lbs from Iowa (many people say he outplayed the more recognizable A Clayborn over Senior year at Iowa — 2nd Rounder)
#3) Sam Acho – 6-3 265lbs from Texas (a sleeper pick) (3rd rounder)
#4) Pierre Allen – 6-4 265lbs from Nebraska (3rd/4th Rounder)f
#5) Greg Romeus – 6-5 270 lbs from Pittsburgh (4th Rounder)
#6) Cliff Matthers – 6-4 270 lbs from SOuth Carolina (4th/5th Rounder)
#7) Ricky Elmore – 6-5 260 lbs from Arizona (4th/5th Rounder)
#8) Markus White – 6-4 265 lbs from Florida State – (5th Rounder)

A very good draft at DE position and some coverted OLB in there as well
who can get after the QB..

i prefer the eagles stay away from d line in the . they proved to me they can’t draft them , other than getting lucky with cole . let washburn work with these guys and poss. free agent . any dline draftee will be under sized and used in a rotation . which to me stinks.

Looking back at the bowl games….I watched probably 95% of the games and the two most dominating performances I watched defensively were a course by Fairly in the BSC Chip, but a close second is Cam Heyward. I thought he would of been a sure top 15 pick but looks like I am wrong according to Paulman. If it is possible to get him late first-second rd..GET HIM

Yes let’s waste some more draft picks on D ends… cut me a break. if these guys draft one D end I’m going to rip the turbine off the linc and shove it up andy’s ass

To BirdsFan09,
I forgot to list Heyward by errorr, and you are correct, he did play outstainding in the bowl game and has great physical tools. I think he will go late 1st Round anywhere from #20 to #32 and most obveservors say that ewould be best suited as a DE in a 3-4 line-up (watch for the Jets,Patriots,Steelers all be looking at him late in the 1st Round and would be a steal at that point)
