We’re only a couple a days away from the 2011 NFL draft and rumors are flying all over the place. I think at least four or five quarterbacks will be drafted in the first round. Not only will Auburn’s Cam Newton and Missouri’s Blaine Gabbert go in the first four or five picks, but Washington’s Jake Locker, Arkansas’ Ryan Mallett, TCU’s Andy Dalton and Nevada’s Colin Kaepernick could go later in the first.
Here’s the way I see it breaking, right now.

Is the DE position that deep that the eagles would use pick #23 to take the 8th DE off the board? Whereas going off this mock the 4th best OT would still be available and the Eagles would pass?
To Mimi,
You must take into account that this years DL Draft class is very deep and talented whereas the 8th Rated DE is probably rated higher than the 4th of the OT Class.. The OL is deep in quality but does not have as many players on the Top End with as much upside as the DE Group offers, again by most NFL Draft observors and guru’s…
I think Kolb gets traded for a 1st rounder or even a swap for a first.
Eagles nab Jimmy Smith and Carmini.
Some news to report about the TCU mammoth OL M Cannon that many have Eagles considering for a possible 2nd Round Pick. He was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer which all reports are that it is treatable.. How this effects his Draft status is unknown but at 6-5 350 lbs, it may create a health/weight issue which may be hard to control for the young man, Best wishes go out to him but I would expect his Draft status to drop from a Mid 2nd Round Selection to a 3rd or possible 4th Round Selection due to an unknown medical situation.. Prayers go out to him and his family for suve bad news
latest rumor has the Titans taken Andy Dalton at #8…. they have him as the #1 rated QB in the draft… wow!
Aldon Smith at #23 is a STEAL…..DL coach Jim Washburn called him a human GPS system because he finds the ball all the time….. the kid has a ridiculous motor and gets to the QB…. only 20 and still can put 10lbs on his frame at 6-4 265.
