Brent Celek Wants The Negotiators To Stay Out Of The News And Get Something Done

Eagles tight end Brent Celek had a busy day yesterday. He made an appearance on ProFootball Talk Live and he was at DeSean Jackson’s event to raise funds to fight pancreatic cancer. Celek said he’s eager to see this lockout get worked out, so they all can get back to work. The talented tight end said he thinks keeping the negotiations out of the news is the best way to open the door for progress to an agreement.

“I think the two sides need to stay out of the media … when you go to the media and you bicker back-and-forth, I think it’s pissing the fans off. And the fans are who pay the bills.”

When asked about how much time it would take for the players to get ready to play a game, Celek replied, “We’re going to need a few preseason games. If we don’t have that, around the league, the football’s not going to be too great at the beginning.”

Celek, who works out consistently at Power Train in Cherry Hill, N.J. said he’s focused on working out and staying prepared because he knows it will give him an advantage when the work stoppage ends. “If guys are out there partying all the time, that’s fine with me because it allows me to get ahead … now that it’s getting closer, it’s time to start getting serious about this.”

And by both sides BC means the owners on one side and the other thousand or so sides are for the players cause they are NOT all together.

Best way to get this thing moving BC is to tell the puppet master smith to drop all the court crap and go back to the table.
