McNabb -” Winning Cures Everything”

Donovan McNabb hit it on the head today when he said, "winning cures everything."

He again said he didn't think the benching helped him.  Don't expect that to ever change.

Brian Westbrook was asked what he thought McNabb's benching about five minutes later and he said he would defer to McNabb and if he said it didn't help him, then we should take the quarterback's word for it.

McNabb expects Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo to come after him with everything but the kitchen sink.  He expects to see something different from what they've seen the first two times they played the Giants.

He knows they won't leave their corners totally exposed, so he won't be looking for a big play each time he drops.

The Eagles QB said that the most important thing to accomplish at this time of year is to not turn the ball over.  If he can stay away from turnovers, the Birds might live to play another week.

Then as if we haven't heard enough about the benching which occured earlier in the season, when McNabb was asked about why the New York defensive line had been in a sack slump during the latter part of the season, he replied, "But they didn't get benched."

This of course was a referral to the fact that he was benched during halftime of the Baltimore game.

I felt like running up there telling Donovan to stick to what he said earlier about "winning taking care of everything."  Ultimately that's what it's all about.

Who's going to feel sorry for a guy who's near the end of a $100 million dollar plus contract, while wanting to start another.
