Eagles With The Most Cap Room?

If you wonder why Sheldon Brown made the statements about there being more Eagles players getting ready to make some noise about their contracts. Observe the fact that PFT.com has the Birds as the team with the most cap room.

That's why the Eagles could obsorb the contracts of Jason Peters, Tony Gonzalez and anybody else that they wanted to bring on board.

I give Joe Banner and the Eagles front office a great deal of credit for the cap management but I am frustrated with their motivation for managing the cap so well.

I think they should take advantage of their ability to manage the cap and stock the team full of as much talent as possible.  I don't being the best cap position in the league is anything to celebrate unless you take advantage of it by securing the most talent.
