I’ll preface this by saying that I don’t know exactly what this means. Someone at the Eagles’ official website could have jumped the gun, or this could be a mistake. But, this would be an awfully curious mistake.
On the Eagles official website – right here – when you click on the player options for jerseys that you can purchase, #29 Rodgers-Cromartie is one of the options. The only problem is that he doesn’t officially play for the Philadelphia Eagles, he’s still an Arizona Cardinal as of this posting.
However, as we all know, he’s been heavily linked to the Eagles in a potential Kevin Kolb trade. So what happened here? Is there something the Eagles aren’t telling us? Or did someone make an egregious mistake?
Maybe both.
Be sure to check it out as soon as you can. If word doesn’t break on a trade soon, they’ll surely yank it down.

I expect an annoucement at 415pm Thursday afternoon that Asmo is staying hom e in the Bay Area and playing for his favorite team and city the San Fran 49ers.. There may have had a deal in place from prior discussions, but once QB K Orton became availalbe on the trade market, the Cardinals wanted to pursue him first leaving the Ealges and Kolb holding the bag and since the Eagles weren’t really talking to anyone else, they end up with egg on their face and t the wool pulled over their eyes again..

DRC and Ray Edwards would be great. Better than what we have. I don’t want to overpay for Nnamdi especially if it means that if you get Nnamdi you are limited in other moves you can make. I’d rather have 2 very good players added to the defense than 1 outstanding especially for the price if I can still add more good players.

Now would I like Nnamdi and Haynesworth? Yes. But I’m not going to act like the season is already over or consider the offseason a failure if they don’t get those 2 but still improve the team by adding other good players. Sorry, I won’t do that. The others – nothing has been done by any teams with them (as far as we know now) so the Eagles aren’t behind or inactive about them at all. No deals can be signed until Friday anyway. You guys act like you sat in the Eagle’s brass’s office. You have no idea what the Eagles are doing, for all you know, they already have an agreement with Asmo, or Arizona.
