A Sporting News report on Monday told us that Jeremy Maclin’s brother Andre said the Eagles were going to clear up everything concerning Jeremy Maclin’s mystery illness on Tuesday but it didn’t happen.
Yesterday at his final training camp news conference, Andy Reid said the Birds were still waiting on result of tests.
Eagles GM Howie Roseman did have something to say yesterday about the Maclin situation and it was positive.
“We totally anticipate Jeremy being part of our football team,” said Roseman. “We anticipate him being back here shortly, with us when we get back to Nova Care.”
Roseman said he hopes there will be a follow up to the Maclin story in the next day or two.
Guess Roseman hasn’t spoken with Paulman’s sources in St Louis.
The question, which he did not answer, was “Will Maclin play this year.”
This is probably the biggest mystery so far with the Eagles…What the hell is wrong with Maclin?…Mono?…That usually stays in the system for awhile, but a person can function if they show no debilitating symptoms and are otherwise healthy…So what gives here?
Guys, few more spots left for the fantasy football league. Send me an email astuckey05 at gmail .com. Draft is next week.
