Eagles Have Wildcat Quarterbacks

I think Eagles fans should give some attention to the Philly.com article about the use of the "Wildcat offense in the NFL.

First of all, Andy Reid likes mixing things up and running some gadget plays, whether they be reverses, throwback passes or Wildcat formation plays.

He will no problem finding players on his roster who have played the "Wildcat" quarterback position in the past.

DeSean Jackson took some snaps as the "Wildcat" quarterback a year ago for the Eagles  He scored a touchdown versus the Giants but also threw an interception against the Browns.

Jeremy Maclin operated out of the position in college.  The same is true of LeSean McCoy.  Cornelius Ingram was recruited to Florida as an All-American quarterback out ot high school.

You know Brian Westbrook could operate out of it.

I think it will be too tempting for Reid to resist running some "Wildcat" plays this season.
