The only Eagles offensive lineman who you hear very little about it Pro Bowl left tackle Jason Peters. He was the one sure thing that the Birds had on the offensive line. Now that is no longer the case because Peters ankle and Achilles were sore after practice yesterday. so he’s listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.
If he doesn’t play the Eagles will be is some serious trouble.
“Nothing looks to be too serious, so they’re going to check it out and see how he’s doing,” said Andy Reid. “He seems to be doing well now.”
Reid said he’s probably going to have backup quarterback Vince Young shut down for another season. Young did practice yesterday, but isn’t back to full strength after spraining his hamstring in the last preseason game.
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was nursing a sore ankle early in the week, but he practiced and says he’s ready to go.
Defensive end Darryl Tapp who made a big play in the Rams game when he sacked St. Louis quarterback Sam Bradford, won’t play on Sunday because of a strained pectoral muscle. He’ll be replaced by Phillip Hunt.
Backup linebacker Akeem Jordan has a shoulder injury and is listed as doubtful.
Young shut down for the season? Do you mean another game?
O-line may be in trouble this week with solid pass rushers on the falcons. If the Eagles get an early lead they will not be beat. Eagles 27-17
Dunlap will fill in for Peters again as he did last season when they played the Falcons and Dunlap held his own versus Falcons J Abraham who wasn’t 100% at the time, but overall Dunlap did a pretty good job and I expect him to do so again.. Keep a close eye on how Dunlap does, if he performs well then it may mean the end of Winston Justice as far as having a future with the Eagels..
dunlap or peters, we’ll be fine
name the bears left tackle…
even if you can name him, he’s young and not a pro bowler
atl d isnt good enough to respect, and our d will feast because we will have the lead
