A.J. Undergoes Successful Surgery

The Philadelphia Eagles just announced that QB A.J. Feeley underwent successful surgery this morning to repair a fractured third metacarpal in his left hand.  The procedure was performed by Dr. John Taras in Philadelphia.

Feeley's status for this week's game at Green Bay will be determined at a later date.

I just received this e-mail from of the readers of the site.

Michael,
I haven't heard how bad A.J. Feely's hand is, but imagine this as a scenario…   The Eagles keep Rocca as the punter, put Feely on IR and sign……..KOY DETMER!!!  Now they have a back-up QB that, we hope, never plays, but solidifies the holder position for David Akers.

After reading it I laughed because last night in the press box we were having fun talking about the Eagles bringing back Koy Detmer and Reno Mahe.  Ha Ha Ha Ha.
