It didn't look like much when DeSean Jackson went in motion inside. Asante Samuel was playing off of him, then all of a sudden he came running toward the line and jammed Jackson as he tried to release from the line of scrimmage.
He delayed his release and their legs collided. Jackson got up limping. He limped down to the trainers area where he was examined for a while.
He then got onto the cart and was taken in.
After practice I learned from the Eagles that he has a hyperextended right knee. How serious it is, I don't know but we'll all have to wait and see.
We all know from the season-ending knee injury to Stewart Bradley that they don't have look like much to be serious.
At the same time, players strain and hyper-extend legs all the time and work through it.
Jackson had been having a great camp and is being counted on to be the team's number one receiver heading into the season.
I'll give you an update on it as soon as I learn more.
