It’s Much Too Early To Panic

It's much too early to panic because of the questions on the Eagles offensive line.  The Birds haven't even played a preseason game, so they have time to get their act together.

From what I have heard Shawn Andrews is getting better and hopefully he'll be back onto the field soon.

All the rest of the offensive line is out there and they will get better in reading and picking up blitzes as they get more time out on the field together. You don't show up and look great from the start.

The Eagles defense was coming from everywhere yesterday and the big fellas weren't ready for it.  That's why you have training camp.  For all intents and purposes, it will continue when they get to the Nova Care Complex.

The true keys to the offense are currently Donovan McNabb, Brian Westbrook and DeSean Jackson.  If they are healthy the Eagles are going to be able to be productive offensively.

Yes one of the youngster, Cornelius Ingram is hurt and out for the year, but LeSean McCoy has been outstanding and Jeremy Maclin has taken up from where he left off in the spring.

Andy and Marty are quickly working him into the offensive game plan.

Brent Celek has had a very good camp and will be a consistent short target for McNabb.

Stewart Bradley is out for the year and he'll be hard to replace, but Joe Mays was outstanding last year in the preseason, so he might be able to do a good job replacing him.

Remember the key to the defense will be the defensive line.  Trent Cole was banged up yesterday but the shoulder injury was nothing serious.

Two key players on the defensive line, Victor Abiamiri and Trevor Laws, haven't practiced but they're scheduled to return soon.  They're going to have depth on the D-line which will allow them to stay fresh.

Darren Howard and Chris Clemmons are playing like they did at the end of the season, so they should be able to give Cole some help with getting pressure on the quarterback.
