You're probably aware of the announcement that the Eagles signed former University of Delaware and Arena League quarterback Matt Nagy. Of course he was already here as a coaching intern.
Well, it's all blown up because the NFL did not validate the contract and have ruled it to be invalid.
I don't think the league wants teams to start signing their coaches. The fact that Nagy was already under some type of contract as a coach, led them to rule it invalid.
There are rumors circulating that the NFL may have canned him because he played in the Arena League.
This will be an unforgettable day in Nagy's life because he was walking in the clouds earlier today when he talked about playing quarterback on Thursday in an NFL preseason game.
He talked about how it was a dream come true. Then later in the day, it all blew up on him.
