Do Something Or Shut Up About Vick

I am impressed by all of the sympathy that we're hearing for the dogs that Michael Vick and his group killed, yet Jon Runyan and I did an appearance a month or two ago for the Philadelphia Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals, and there was very little turnout.

People are quick to make like they care and run their mouths about how bad something somebody else did was.

Yet if you ask for people to give their time and their money, you find out where their hearts really are.

It's important but it's not that important.  People are as phony as a three-dollar bill.

They kill thousands of dogs on a yearly basis at these animal shelters because nobody wants to adopt them.  If people really care so much for the lives of dogs then they would be doing more.

I guess people feel that getting needle of death put in you is so much different that being electrocuted, hung or beaten to death, that it's not that bad.

I say if you aren't helping all the dogs that are being put to death, then shut up about Vick.
