Donovan McNabb who just finished talking to the media, says the Eagles offense wants to clean up the mistakes they've been making and find a way to put together a solid effort on Thursday night.
Donovan says Michael Vick has been performing well and working on his game. He said Vick will learn to be more reliant on the offense and less dependent on his speed and running skills.
This is the development of Vick and McNabb has gone through this development for himself.
Donovan made it a point to highlight the fact that he's been criticized for developing his game beyond relying on his ability to run with the football.
He was asked a number of other questions about Vick and gave the text book answer.
He said Kevin Curtis looks healthy and expects good things from him.
McNabb wants to get everybody involved in the offense. They want to have everything clicking when they play the Panthers in the first game.
I think Donovan needs to have a talk with some of these guys to let them know the urgency of getting ready to play.
They need to start getting in a regular season mentality.
