Eagles injured offensive tackle Shawn Andrews put on a show today. He talked and talked and talked. I felt like jumping in there and telling him to shut up but it looked like he was having too much fun.
He says he's going to be able to begin the season at the starting right tackle spot.
"If you question my love for the game, my dedication, just look at the game I got hurt, the Dallas Cowboy game … That'll let you know the kind of note I left off on … That'll let you know what my passion for the game is," Andrews said.
"I had people hit me up on my Youtube videos the other day, making all these comments 'you love music more than football!' … don't judge me. Football is a very strong passion, but I love music, as well".
Andrews likes to play the victim and he may be truly injured and not able to play but there are very few people who believe that he's really unable to play. I don't know but I'm going to try to continue to give him the benefit of the doubt.
He's starting to do more and more exercises, which means he's doing physical activities that are football-oriented.
Shawn talked about how the shots he had taken in his back showed how much he wanted to get out there and play.
He told me that he thought this Eagles offensive line could be great. Andrews told me he believes they can dominate like few lines have as soon as he can get out there.
The Big Kid says who wouldn't want to play next to his brother and his college roommate.
I didn't answer the question but I hope the correct answer isn't Shawn Andrews, but we'll have to wait to find out the truth.
