I mentioned the other day that TE Alex Smith had been cut by the New England Patriots and that the Eagles could possibly have some interest in him.  Well, after visiting with the Giants, Smith has agreed to terms with the Eagles, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Smith was a third-round pick of Tampa Bay back in 2005 and traded to the Patriots this year.¬† He won’t be great, but he’ll add some depth at the position.¬†
