Okay we have ourselves a dilemma at the quarterback position. The Birds have a game next week against the New Orleans Saints but Donovan McNabb may not be available. In addition third quarterback Michael Vick in ineligible until week 3.
A.J. Feeley is out there and available. Of course he worked the entire training camp and preseason before being released. Feeley has had quite a bit of success during two stints with the Eagles of taking over from an injured McNabb and being productive.
The Birds could also sign Jeff Garcia who knows this offense like the back of his hand. He was released by the Oakland Raiders about eight days ago.
I’m sure you remember Garcia coming in and taking over from McNabb in 2006 and leading the Birds to the playoffs.
I think they’re going to go with Feeley, but I don’t know that he will give them the best chance to win if he has to play.
What do you think they should do?
