I’m concerned that Brian Westbrook is already banged up and the Eagles have played only two games. He just doesn’t look like himself out there and he doesn’t look quick. LeSean McCoy looked quicker than BWest.
I know they say he twisted his ankle, but I’m concerned that we might not have the real Brian Westbrook all season long.
DeSean Jackson hasn’t done anything in the first two games to make me lessen what I expect of him this year. He’s got the capability of being one of the best receivers in the league.
That bomb to him was a great call by Andy and Marty, Kevin Kolb made a great throw and Jackson was wide open.
Kevin Curtis isn’t healthy and he hasn’t been healthy for a while. At one moment it’s his knee, then it’s his groin and then his hamstring.
What’s going on with Jason Peters? He gave up a sack and some pressures. That’s not Pro Bowl work.
Winston Justice on the other side did a solid job. He’s been consistent and developing into a good offensive tackle. This is great news for the Birds because of what has been happening to Shawn Andrews.
It’s fairly clear that one of the best receivers the Eagles have is Jason Avant. He’ll catch the ball thrown behind him and make the tough catch. McNabb believes in him and you can see that Kevin Kolb believes in him as well.
In the first two games, Avant has gotten off to a nice start for the Birds.
I like what I’m seeing out of tight end Brent Celek. He caught everything thrown his way today and he fought hard after he got the ball in his hands.
