Big Shawn Andrews is headed back to California to spend some time with the guy who operated on his back, Dr Robert Watkins. Eagles head coach Andy Reid had made it known about a week and a half ago that Shawn might be heading out of town to rehab his back.
Andrews was placed on Injured Reserve so he won’t be playing football for the Birds during this present season. His back flared up during the team’s conditioning test prior to training camp and he was never able to practice at Lehigh University.
On his Twitter page the Big Kid said good bye to the city for now, “Well Philly I’m going away now so I can try to get this back right….,
