McNabb notes

Donovan McNabb returned to the Eagles on Sunday and looked like he didn’t miss a beat.¬† You can let everyone talk about the possibilities of Kolb or Vick or what’s going to happen next year, but Donovan is still an elite QB in the NFL and gives the Eagles their best chance to win.

Here are some other notes on McNabb:

-Donovan now has 199 TD passes and 29,663 passing yards. He needs one TD pass and 337 passing yards to join an exclusive list of 20 NFL QBs that have reached both plateaus. That list includes 10 Hall of Famers and just two active players – Brett Favre and Peyton Manning.

-Donovan’s 3 TD – 0 INT performance gives him 199 TDs and 91 INTs for his career. His TD:INT ratio now stands at 2.187 moving him into 2nd on the NFL’s all-time list. He trails only Tom Brady (2.284; 201:88 entering today). Sunday, Donovan moved ahead of Steve Young (2.168).

-With a passer rating of 157.2, the Eagles have now won 34 straight games in which Donovan’s QB rating exceeded 100.0. It is the longest active streak in the NFL (Tom Brady and Brett Favre are next at 19 each). The Eagles are now 38-1 when Donovan’s passer rating exceeds 100.0.
