Brent Celek Is Unhurt After Car Accident

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek was the passenger in a Audi vehicle last night which was involved in an accident as per the information via localaccidentreports.  Celek was hurt and had minor injuries so he was taken to a Pain Clinic in Charleston SC.

I emphasize that he was riding and not driving because the guy who was driving failed a sobriety test and was arrested for drunk driving a self driving car. According to a recent study drunk driving and rear-end crashes are the most common causes of accidents in the country.

Towing companies can charge up to $151/hour to tow your car. They also charge about $30 for administrative fees and $45 per day for storage fees. If your car is towed to the tow yard before 6:00 pm, they will charge you a storage fee for that day; after 6:00 pm, storage fees will be charged starting the next day.

In most cases, it goes to the tow company’s tow yard or a body collision repair shop. If you are too injured to speak with the tow truck driver and busy being treated by the paramedics, the tow truck driver will take your car to the tow yard. Your car will stay there until you or your insurance company tells the tow truck driver where to take it, when needing an emergency towing service, check the cheap rates available at towingless.com.

If you are not too injured at the scene of the car accident and are up to it, you should tell your tow truck driver to take your car directly to the body repair shop from the scene of the accident. Doing this eliminates the trip to the tow yard then to the body shop, which can save on storage fees, administrative fees, and towing fees. Most towing companies prefer to take your car directly to the body shop. If you have a body shop you prefer, then they will take your car to their location. If you do not have a preference, then they will recommend a repair shop. According to AM/PM Towing, about 70% of the cars go from the scene to the tow yard, and about 30% go to directly to the body shop.

Car technology has rapidly advanced in recent years. From all-wheel drive to anti-braking technology, the safety of automobiles has improved drastically and saved countless lives. Now, safety advocates and car manufacturers are hoping that self-driving cars will be the wave of the future. Self-driving cars operate by sensing the obstacles and cars around them and using state-of-the-art software to control, navigate and even drive the vehicle without human assistance but according to an experienced connecticut injury law firm you can still be found liable if you were not paying attention and you crash with someone. There are no fully autonomous vehicles on the road — yet. Currently, there are partially autonomous vehicles which require some human control. However, car manufacturers believe that fully-autonomous vehicles are just a few years away from going on sale.

The emergence of self-driving vehicles has many wondering how this affects liability and also drunk driving. If you’ve been drinking and are unable to drive, is operating a self-driving car a way to avoid drunk driving and DUI charges? people all of Chesapeake that need counseling regarding this are well prepared.

There are a lot of reliable car accident lawyers like the salt lake city rear-end car accidents attorney who can help you deal and get the compensation you deserve. They are very willing to help as they are also experts in laws about self driving cars in boston, if you are in a problem, they might be able to take you out of it.

“A Lapse of judgement” G_Man…
Take the goves off.. If this was M Vick, D-Jax or even Allen Iversonm, the media would be all over the player… Double-Standard because Clelek is white and a popluar player with the media nad the fans..
Celek Stated that he didn’t realize his friend (who he was out wil for most of the evenign) was intoxicated and shouldn’t been driving.. It was 230am.. How many hours of partying do you think it takes for someone to be above the legal limit anym,ore.. Call a damn Cab… If you are going out to celebrate your 27th Birthday, there’s a pretty darn good chance that alcohol is going to be involved .. Get a damn Limo Service.. the NFL even sponsors a Limo Serivce for Players.. . What would everyone say if this driver ran into another vehicle and injured or kill someone.. There is no excuse for this “Lapse of Behavior” in this day and age of Professional Athletes.. I am gald that no one was injured.. If I was Owner/GM or HC, I would release Celek

Good stuff P-Man; much respect.

Paulman come on man…the media is not making a big deal about this because in reality nothing happened. Noone was harmed. Noone died. Noone was injured. Celek was never charged with anything. its ridiculous when people try to make it a race issue all the time…there is a DUI every other week in the NFL and after a couple days all is forgotten whether your black or white. Not a big deal to fans. The guy wasn’t even the one drinking and driving. Don’t get me wrong as an athlete and as a person he made a mistake but lets be real..your a liar or you live under a rock if you or anybody for that matter says they never got into a car with a friend that had some drinks during the night or they never got behind the wheel themselves after having a couple beers or whatever.

Release Celek? the guy won’t even be fined by the commissioner about this. To me Brent Celek is one of the bright spots on the team he brings something that over 75 percent of the team doesn’t have and thats heart and guts on the field. Again he didn’t kill anybody or injure anybody at all. If he did it would be a different story..BUT he didn’t and thats all that matters right now not the “what ifs” those mean nothing concentrate on actual reality man just syain..Cut him? Na The eagles are trying to put together the best possible football team not best possible boy scout team…

If ray lewis had decided to leave the ravens after his incident in what 2000 and wanted to play for the Eagles only are you going to tell me you wouldn’t have signed him? give me a break…if Plax wanted to play for the Eagles only next year for league min you wouldn’t sign him? Vincent Jackson? yea right

Further, the media did report on this in every Philly related news feed you could think of so its not like their just pretending it didn’t happen because he is white like you say. its been reported, like it is on here, as much as it possible could be because again in reality nothing really happened and no one was hurt. not much of story.

I agree with all you said Paul. He is a stupid @$$. The media has selective coverage. Everyone knows that. Although this time, I think it is more of the likability factor, more than race. But you are right, Vick would be murdered in the media. But he has prior bouts of stupidity, so he will be scrutinized the rest of his life, right or wrong, like it or not.

Hey Paul you are absolutely right, had this been Vick they would been all over this, and GCobbs article wouldn’t have been so short and sweet.

, hate to burst your bubble my friend, however I have never gotten into a car with a friend or anyone else that has been drinking or smoking, I don’t know you therefore I don’t have to lie, and I dam sure don’t live under a rock…….just the way it is.

pure garbage paulman, race pandering, vick, iverson jackson get more scrutiny because of previous character issues, if it were avant, dawkins, maclin, same treatment as celek got, in this country today, take care of business, be a father, dont be a thug hanging with your thug friends, pictures with whores, be a real man, a warrior, youll get all the respect

Short, seriously good for you that you haven’t even once in your life, ill take your word for it…However, most people in the world today have…even just going to dinner with the wife/GF/Fiance or whatever and having a beer is still drinking and driving and i think most normal people have done that. That was my point…

However, I hate to burst you bubble by the fact that your implying this is a race issue by putting Vick’s name into this. Obviously, it would be a bigger story, you know because Vick was a felon with a criminal history who might still be on federal probation…Just saying I’m not a genius but Im pretty sure that would be the reason this would be a bigger story than it was with Celek, not about the color of their skin.

And again, the philly media covered the story in every philly related news feed you could find so please tell me what more you would want from a non-story like this nothing happened…Celek wasn’t even charged with a crime, not even a misdemeanor. wht do you really want guys like Gcobb to write about if there is nothing here.

Agree jakedog, people are always trying to make things about race. its a joke. Cut Celek for this? lol…yet the same people would be all for VJax coming here when that guy was actually caught drinking and driving more than once.

I state this not only because Celek is white, but because everyone in the media and probably most fans love the guy and gave him a pass.. Popular Players like the ones I mentioned earlier (Vick,D-JAx,Iverson) still had a lot of detractors for whatever reasons (again, usually because of race) I will continue to call them as I see them
Hanging out with a buddy all night to celebrate his 27th Birthday doesn’t sound like a real man to me anyways.. It’s not like he’s 21-22 years old anymore..

pheags88, thanks, however what I said is true, however I do agree most have, I just don’t do it. I do believe that had this been Vick the story would have been quite different, and a lot would have been made of nothing. But do understand that I was not attempting to make this about race nor did I mention anything about race.

Paul, WTF are you 70 with no life. I agree, he should have been responsible enough to take a cab, but for you to say he isn’t a real man because he was having a good time on his birthday, is plain idiotic! What do expect, him to be a freaking Monk? It’s called having a good time, maybe you should try it, it might loosen you up. He isn’t in titty bars making it rain on tranny dancers or financing the torture & murder of living things. You made this non-story a race thing, when he did nothing wrong. If he was driving himself, it would be a different story. Usually you’re spot on with stuff, but this time you’re off-base & out of line. I’m half black, so I know about racism & racial biased topics, & this isn’t one of them. Move on, you ain’t calling nothing like you see it, you’re trying to stir up a hornets nest. Grow up.

paulman, you are quickly losing your cred, those players had their detractors not because of race, but because of their character, on and off the playing surface, in sports, especially in philly, what you do and what you say trumps race, this is the 21st century, philly fans always sniff out a loser, whether he be green, black, white, and vick is a loser

No way Nev856, Finding a young DE who gives you 14 Sacks are a lot harder to find than big , slow white TE’s which are a dime a dozen… I give Aldon Smith a 2nd chance (and maybe even a 3rd or 4th)
But on a serious note,
OK ,maybe releasing Celek is a bit over the top.. I over-reacted am just tired hearing/reading about these Professional Athletes continuing to make the same stupid mistakes.. Believe me Dcar, I like to go out and have a good time like anyone else.. but man, make some transportation arrangements, have a Designated-Drivers set up for us regular folks.. but these Athlestes have Limo Services to provide rides to and from at a drop of a call.. Why screw up this easy phone call away service and even take a chance to screw it up is what gets me..
Brent Celek has been an upstanding citizen, player and very active in the local community for his entire career in Philly so this does appear to be an exception, and poor judement on his part..

I remember when Flyers goalie Pelle Lindbergh died because of a drunk driving accident, Flyers play by play announcer Gene Hart went around to all the high schools pleading with students not to drink and drive ——- and the one thing he said to us students was that Pelle Lindberg had the best hand eye coordination skills in the world — noone in the city had better reaction skills than Pelle Lindbergh and with alcohol in his body his reaction skills were rendered useless
