The Eagles will go a long way in beating the Cowboys if they are able to block Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware.
Dallas will try to get pressure from blitzing but their number one source of pass rush pressure is Ware coming off the corner.
Most of the time he will be battling Eagles left tackle Jason Peters, but there will also be times when he moves to the other side and comes off the corner against Winston Justice.
At times in the 3-4 defense, they are able to get him matched up against the tignt end.¬† This is a no-no.¬† It’s a recipe for disaster.¬†
At no time should the Birds allow Ware to get lined up with ony a tight end blocking him one on one.  They must always give the tight end help if he must block big number 94.
Ware has the speed of Osi Umenyiora of the Giants.  He can come all the way around on the back side and hit McNabb in the back and force a fumble.
The pass blocking inside must be good enough so McNabb can step up and avoid that pressure from the blindside and deep in the pocket.
They have to consistently stay after him because he’ll be speed rushing all night long.¬† He’s not the kind of player that you can take your eye of for a second or he’ll make a big play and cause a turnover.
He just signed a huge contract and had twenty sacks last year.¬† He’s a great athlete who has a tremendous combination of size and speed.
They’ll move him around, so Donovan McNabb made it clear that they must know where he’s lining up.¬† They’re not going to change the play because of where he’s lining up but they need to know where he’s at.
He wears number 94 and he can take over a game in an instant.
