You can’t have a passive mind-set and expect to be physical when you need to be in a football game.
You have to preach being physical all the time and demand it from your football team, then you can be confident you’re going to get physical play when you need it.
Let’s look at the Pittsburgh Steelers for instance, they demand that their players be physical and they get it year in and year out. It’s something that’s a big part of football and will always be as long as the game is played.
The Eagles need to be harder on their offensive linemen. They should demand that they fire off the ball when run blocking and be physical.
Everybody was running on the Chargers until they played the Eagles. This is a clear indictment of their offensive line who weren’t able to open up a hole for a first down on short yardage against the Cowboys.
They did the same thing last year in Chicago. This is a achilles heal which should be addressed.
