Donovan McNabb says things haven’t changed regarding the importance that the team continues to win.
He minimized the loss of DeSean Jackson and said that they will need Reggie Brown to step up in his place. He says he has full trust that Reggie will do what needs to be done.
McNabb talked about how hard Reggie works in practice and how he and Reggie have developed a rapport.
McNabb went on to talk about Jason Avant and his toughness and ability to make plays in the middle of the field. Donovan says Avant is tremendous during the game and at practice.
Donovan McNabb says the Atlanta Falcons defense flies around after the ball and they seem like a different team at home. He says the crowd noise helps them. He says they like to get pressure on the opposing quarterback.
Both he and Andy Reid pointed out that the Atlanta Falcons have lost only one home game in two years.
McNabb said he thinks the Atlanta Falcons fans will have a warm greeting for Michael Vick when he returns to Atlanta, this weekend.
The starting Eagles quarterback says he would love to see Vick have a great game and get the chance to play well in front of the team that drafted him into the NFL.
