You will hear about the Jeremy Maclin catch and the David Akers kick but the biggest play of the game was made by Donovan McNabb legs and not his arm.
The Birds were about to let this one get away until McNabb made a couple of plays in the fourth quarter to first regain field position then to put the team in posiition for the 30-27 victory.
The Broncos had come back and tied the game. McNabb and the Eagles offense was struggling and they were on the verge of giving the ball back to Denver and putting them in position to take the lead.
It was 3rd and 25 and the Eagles were backed up on their own 15 yard line. McNabb took a weapon out of his bag that he rarely uses anymore.
He dropped in the pocket and spotted the Broncos in man to man coverage.
He took his time looking around for an open receiver which let the receivers run off the Denver secondary, then took off for the first down sticks.
McNabb knew he had some defenders in hot pursuit but he showed he still has the ability to run when he needs to.
Number Five ran untouchoed for 27 yards and got out of bounds on the Eagles 42 yard line. Their drive stalled and they wound up punting but it gave the Birds field position.
