Terrell Owens would like nothing better than to dominate the game on Sunday night. His quarterback Tony Romo knows that so he's going to go out of his way to get him the football. The Birds can't allow Owens to take over the football game.
T.O. seems to have grown up a bit from the time he was here in Philly. He says he has put the feud with Donovan McNabb behind him. Owens still would like nothing better than taking over the football game. It's a shame he couldn't have shown the same maturity when he was playing for the Birds. It still makes me wonder what if. You can believe the Eagles offense wouldn't have been struggling with Owens lining up at one of the wide receiver positions.
Although he's getting up in age, Owens still possesses an awesome combinattion of size, strength, quickness and speed. The Eagles don't need to spend too much time trying to jam him at the line of scrimmage because he's just too strong. Lito Sheppard and Sheldon Brown would be better off mixing up their alignments and trying to shadow Owens.
T.O. is too good to totally shut down but the Birds have to tackle him after he catches the football. They can't let him run wild and break tackles, then turn short gains into long touchdown plays. The Birds secondary has to know where he is on each play.
