Eagles In Love With Pitts’ Jeff Otah

My colleague Mike Perry from Blast Magazine is reporting that his source told him that the Eagles love Pittsburgh tackle Jeff Otah.

In addition to Otah, he is also hearing what we suspected a couple of weeks ago, that the Eagles are also really high on Vanderbuilt tackle Chris Williams.  The tackles make sense because Jon Runyan and Tra Thomas are both on the really wrong side of 30.

What surprised me was that Perry is also reporting that the Eagles really like Michigan State WR Devin Thomas.  Andy Reid has only taken one WR in the first round during his Eagles tenure and it didn't work out well.  However, this offseason, it's been clear that Reid and the front office have made it clear that they need WR help.

My guess is that if the Eagles can jump up and get Williams, they will do that.  If they are unable to move up, they most likely select Otah at #19.  If neither of them are available?  Well, then maybe Donovan McNabb gets his new toy after all.
