Brian Westbrook's news conference began with a bunch of questions about his health.
Westbrook said he communicates with Coach Reid about how he feels and whether he can go or not. He said he's doing everything he can do to stay on the field and get as close to 100% as possible.
BWest said they need to have more success running the ball early in games so that Reid will call more run plays late in games.
The ankle injury is still bothering him. He said he gets it healthy but during the games he cuts on it and reinjures it again.
He would like to see more runs called on 3rd and one, but understands why they haven't been because they haven't been having success.
Westbrook defended Reid and McNabb by saying they have shouldered too much of the blame for the Eagles struggles.
