DeSean Jackson Will Be Used Like DeAnthony Thomas

Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson had a conversation with new head coach Chip Kelly and he came out of the conversation excited about how he’s going to be utilized in the 2013 season.  Jackson told some reporters in New Orleans earlier today that Kelly gave him a clear idea about how he will use him.

“Kind of similar to what DeAnthony Thomas was doing at Oregon. He’s like a little brother to me. I actually talked to him,” Jackson said he had a conversation with Thomas.

“He was passing on information to me, like I’m going to be pumped up and psyched to be in that offense. It just keeps defenses off guard any time you go in motion, fake play-action, go down the field. There’s just so many things you can do.”

Jackson continued with his excitement in playing for the creative offensive wizard Kelly.

“Talking to Chip Kelly, he actually said, ‘I was on the opposite side, watching you score touchdowns,’” Jackson said. “So now, it’s actually a good situation because I am very familiar with the play style, his offensive style, and I think in the NFL, he’s going to have defensive coordinators going crazy. I’m just excited, and hopefully he’s able to come in here and just throw that twist to it.”

Thomas is a smallish speedster just like Jackson.  They’re both in the 5’9″, 5’1-” range and weigh about 170 pounds on a good day, but you don’t want to get in a foot race with either one of them.

Kelly had Thomas running the ball, catching the ball and playing different positions at Oregon.  You can expect to see Jackson running the ball as a running back, being handed the ball on reverses, lining-up in the slot and being split out as a wide receiver.

I’m concerned about whether Jackson can stay healthy if Kelly has him running with the football on the NFL level.    I remember Jackson suffering a concussion after he was hit in the shoulder by Washington Redskin middle linebacker London Fletcher.  He didn’t even hit him in the head, he hit him in the shoulder and Jackson was sidelined for a week.

It’s going to be tough for Kelly’s offense to live up to all this build up.  Everybody will be anticipating seeing his quick strike attack putting points on the board like they did  in college.

Did he mention Returning Punts again.. It what he does best..
This is a make/break year for D-Jax and he needs to step up and earn that Contract in my opinion or he will be a goner after 2013.
You can Draft 40-50 a year Receptions and 2 TD’s 1 Trick Pony WR every year for 10% of what he earns every Draft Year …

as Ronald Reagan once said: THERE U GO AGAIN P-MAN. you can only produce as a WR if you have a balanced offense STARTING WITH SOME DECENT O-LINE PLAY. Andy Reid’s offense became predictabl & stale.

I feel DeSean will flourish in this offense, and is poised for a very big year, a breakout year, but he needs to stop talking so much. Just fly under the radar, stop always trying to make the news paper. Just learn the ins and outs of the offense.

This man really does need to be put back on punt returns though. Why pay a man more to do less? I do like Damaris Johnson thought returning kicks/punts. Boy is fast and actually got a 90 yarder punt return late in the season. DJax will have a great season coming up. Bet on it. The only way this man can be effective is if the Oline is healthy and is playing great. Chip Kelly is gonna have some fun with these toys. All we gotta do is draft Dee Milliner, or Jarvis Jones with the #4, along with a safety in the 2nd or EJ Manuel. I’m telling you guys, I know a lot of you probably wont think so, but EJ Manuel will be a great QB especially if he comes into Philly. I do not think he’s a Josh Freeman like Paulman compared him to. He runs a 4.5 – 4.6 range and is 6.4 240lbs. Boy has one helluva arms too.

Your right CT. EJ Manuel is not like Josh Johnson, he’s more like JaMarcus Russell. An over hyped Bulls%@&t prospect.

EJ Manuel should be a 4-5th Round Pick. Dee Millner is not a top 5 pick, nor top ten for that matter, and Jarvis Jones has so many red flags, illnesses, and injuries he’s dropping towards the end of the 1st round.

Dude do your homework. Then come back with some better suggestions, because that was crap that you suggested.

NIIIICE! How he should have been used anyways! Reid & Morningwood, were f^#@ing MORONS! One of the many issues, I had with Reid’s utilization of DJax’s skills were, never used him on reverses, stopped using him or returns, & never used him on quick slants, to utilize his speed for YAC! Also, when, if ever, did the Hindenburg use his WR’s in motion?!? Trade Maclin & Avant for draft picks, & get a legit, big, talented potential #1, #2 WR (Bowe in FA, or Hunter, Patterson, Rogers, Hamilton, in 3rd round). Thank God, he’s gone!!!!

I thought you guys would be interested in Desean Jackson’s opinion concerning who will be the QB this year…… NFL NETWORK

Receiver DeSean Jackson says the coaching change the Philadelphia Eagles made should result in at least one certainty for next season after struggling to a 4-12 finish in 2012.

Retaining the services of Michael Vick.

“For sure I can see it. Now that Chip Kelly is our offensive coordinator, I mean our head coach, Michael Vick I think it’s a no-brainer to keep him here,” Jackson said Friday in an interview with the NFL Network. “It fits his playing style and what he’s done perfect.”

paulman

February 2, 2013 3:36 pm

How does it fit Vick’s Style Perfect.. What SPread, read option first Offense, high tempo Offense has Vick played and been succesful in…
D-Jax is saying the right things for what else is he supposed to say..
Yeah, got CHip Kelly in, lets clean house with these overpaid, underperforming players on the Roster and re-tool the Team to move forward again.. If D-Jax were to say this, he would have to include himself as a overpaid, underperforming Veteran too… Don’t give me that he’s only 25-26 Year’s Old BS either .. D-Jax ust completed his 5th Season in the NFL and has his big contract now. So no more excuses D-Jax.. The Vick Experience is like Jimi-Hendrix’s song ”And the Wind, Cried, Mary”.. It’s over for MV7..
and if D-Jax doesn’t get into his best shape and get strong and play an entire season and earn his $$$, then the Wind will scream D-Jax too after 2013..

I hope both Vick and Jackson are gone come fall. I’m guessing half of my wish list will come true. Jackson is a one-trick-pony. Sure he’s fast, but defenses learn to deal with speed all of the time, and defenses certainly caught up to him over the last 3 seasons. He has bad to average hands, he runs poor routes, he can’t block, he’s ineffective over the middle.
Maybe Chip can turn this guys career around, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

Here is another baseless post calling someone a cancer when you have no earthly idea what goes on in the locker room. I bet until Babin was released you thought he was a leader right? When Desean let his contract status get into he head he was called out about it by his teammates since then he hasn’t been a problem but I shouldn’t speak either I guess since I’m not in the locker room either.

49ers ran for 182 yards in the game total (Probably 140 of those in the 2nd Half) and hada almost 300 Yards of Offense Total in the 2nd Half..
Gore rip runs of 33, 21 & 12 Yards as well as Kapernick with a 20 Yard Td RUn.. The Pistol was working as the game went longer as the 49ers OL began to wear down the Ravens front 7.. I was surprised that the 49ers did’no attempt to run it in on that final drive once down to the 5 yard line for they had the Ravens on their heels those last couple of drives.. Was a fun and entertaining game to watch and glad the Ravens won as I was pulling for the HC John Harbaugh, Flacco, Rice and Pierce & Consummate Professional Football Player A Boldin.. He had some big catches too and had a great game ..

They scouted that pistol formation for 2 weeks, a defense like the Ravens that have great great players with high football intelligence would not allow a gimmicky “pistol formation” stop them from winning a SB. I knew it from the start, you give a group of guys like Ray Lewis, Haloti Ngata, Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs 2 full weeks to watch film on that formation they will pick that thing apart. Yea the niners got some big plays out of it from time to time but the Ravens kept it under control. What a game John Harbs called too, he did not panic like his brother Jim did and does all game long, he remained calm and called a good game..

What are you talking about? You make it sound like the Ravens defense dominated. They gave up 29 points without the safety and almost 500 yards. Vernon Davis was running free the whole game. Ray Lewis was ineffective. Ed Reed made one play and Ngata missed a huge chunk of the 2nd half. Did you watch the game? The 49ers did as much to stop themselves as the Ravens did.

This is not a game to use to try to call the pistol gimmicky. They were very effective in that formation including the long run by Gore on the last drive.

49ers Rushed for 182 Yards Total (About 140 of which in the 2nd half)
and almost 300 yards of Offense in the 2nd Half alone..
The Pistol was working as Bugsy stated.. I still say the 49ers should have tried to run it in on that final Drive once at the 5 Yard line for the Ravens were on their heels leading up to that and the 3rd/4th Down plays were not really high % PLays to get you a Touchdown.. 3rd Down pass to to Crabtree at the 3yard line was a wasted play..and last one is a all or nothing play and didn’t appear to be a catchable ball even though there was contact as their was all game long.. No problem not calling a penalty on that play.. Refs were consistent and that’s all you can ask..

Everyone wants to talk about this league being an offensive driven one, well it looks like defense won yesterday. You have a offensive minded head coach in Jim Harbaugh and a defensive minded head coach in John. Id take a great defense over a great offense any day of the week. John proved yesterday that even though Kaepernick and these other run pass QBs are the new wave with there pistol formations and read option stuff and what have you (btw all of them are home with no SB), it all comes down to who can stop who, period. What did the last play of the game come down to? A big defensive stop that won the Ravens another SB..Call it a hold of whatever you want they stopped the niners on a goaline stand.. Like i said, give me a great defense over a great offense. Look at all the great offenses the Ravens stopped on there way to this SB, the broncos, pats and now the niners. Give me a great defense..

Rolling out on the goal is the worst call in football and it never ever works. It never worked for McNabb and I have watched may teams call that play. But defensive game? Defense wins? 34-31 with 589 yrds passing 270 yrds rushing and 6 tds on O.

The SF D is completely overrated BTW having given up 42, 34, 31, 24, 34 over the past 7 weeks.

Over the last 1/4 of the season and playoffs every time they came up against a decent O they got shredded……reading their own press clippings I suppose.

Ravens gave up almost 300 Yards of Offense in the 2nd Half to the 49ers with a lot of it on the Ground by Gore & Kap as the 49ers rushed for 182 Yards Total for the Gam and yes. much of it from the PIstol Formation so JH again is clueless in his analysis.. Hey I was rooting for the RAvens and called for a 29-27 Victory by them, but those final 4 Plays from the 5 yard when the 49ers OL was dominating and had the Ravens on their heels reminded me of Coach AR/MM head sctaching play calls once inside the 5 Yard Line..
That 3rd Down Pass Play to Crabtree on a 2 Yard Route is a wasted play..
That alley oop is a all of nothing play and Kap had to toss it sooner than he wanted with the blitz and the pass was not even Catchable to stay in the field of play..
After a great 49er Comeback, they were dijointed in that entire 4 Down Sequence of Plays where they could have taken the lead and perhaps win the game..
All in all , a great Game and happy that Ravens Won as I like HC John HArbaugh’s style and personality and of course for the local players Flacco (Audubon,NJ) Rice (Rutgers) and Bernard Pierce (Temple) and a the great Pro that WR A Boldin is and was nice to see him get a Championship Ring

You don’t have to be a stats geek to see that your dominant defense gave up 31 points in the game (29 with safety). 31 points is not a dominant performance no matter how you slice it. Sorry. And they didn’t stop the pistol on that stand because the 49ers didn’t run it. One stand doesn’t make an entire game performance.

Final 4 PLay Sequence ..

1st Down Run stuffed for virtually no gain
2nd Down- Open Receiver in End Zone – Crabtree, High Pass but catchable 3rd Down – Worst Play Call in Super Bowl History, and throwing decision by Kap.. Why throw a 2 Yard Pass that has no chance of getting into the End-Zone.. (Throw the ball into the end-zone)
4th Down – Looked like Crabtree was expexting a Back-Shoulder throw from Kap and instead Kap threw an Alley-Oop over the top and was rushed by a blitzer and probably wasn’t a catchable pass to make and still remain inbounds..

Yes Ravens won the Game which I am glad since I was rooting for them and called a 29-27 Ravens Victory since last week.. but to say the Ravens Defense Stuffed the 49ers on that final Drive is not accurate ..
1 Drop Pass, 1 Poor Decision on where to throw, 1 Poor Pass on the final 3 Downs more so than the Ravens Defense in my opinion…

Paulman, I though that the final play sequence for the Niners was terrible. IM not sure but didn’t they have 2nd and goal from like the 4 yard line or so at the 2 min warning with at least 1 timeout left. You RUN the ball there over and over again till you get in. Even if Baltimore is all out blitzing you still run the ball because you have the best o-line in football, no Haloti Ngata, and a defense thats on its last breathe in the Ravens. Also, you know refs are not going to call pass interference at that time in the game so thats advantage Balt. Maybe the biggest factor is Cap can’t throw a fade pass to save his life. HE can make any other throw in the game but he cant throw a fade pass for shit.

Honestly thats probably why the ravens were all out blitzing. They studied the tape. They knew his weakness. He wasn’t good in the redzone while the Ravens were which was the difference.

Bugs. Your not answering the question your doing a good job tap dancing around it. You dont wanna admit that the Ravens flat out stopped the niners on that goaline. Im not discrediting the niners offense at all I’m trying to ask you what did the game come down to? A publicly acclaimed high octane offense in the niners was stopped by the #1 defense in the nfl. Bottom line. Give me dominant defense over offense. Since the Pats have become mainly a offensive team instead of defensive, have they won a SB? No!.. also the stupid power outage, that was a ploy to screw the Ravens, that allowed thr niners to come back into the game. It gave them alot of momentum

They did stop them, but by your rationale, I can look at any end of the game series and call a defense dominant if they stop the offense once even though they may have given up 50 points in the rest of the game. That is not dominant. If you like a strong defense over offense fine, but neither team played a full game of dominant defense as the score showed.

Bugs im talking about overall, the Ravens are a dominant defense. Not early 2000s dominant but still the #1 overall defense. They beat the so called “best offense” flat out. Not just on the last play, they were beating them up all game. Some really hard hitting. That power outage messed up the Ravens a little bit in the second half… The Niners made some good plays on offense but I felt from the start that there offense was overmatched. I new that after 2 weeks of preparation, the Ravens would be not only rested but also prepared to stop that offense. And they did a very good job of doing it. They caused 2 critical turnovers, 1 a forced fumble, the other was an INT. In fact, some other passes Kap made could have easily been picked off but were dropped, then the game would have really been blown wide open. So yes a dominate defense like the Ravens is always better than a great offense IMO..

Btw, what about that blitz that was called on the last play of the game? Man, that was a beauty. Two guys got thru and hit Kap, 1 came free, they totally confused the niners.. Couldnt of drawn it up better

I got this from Eagles 24/7

After multiple meetings with Chip Kelly, Michael Vick is much bigger on the idea of staying in Philadelphia than he was just a few weeks ago.

Vick was ready to move on from the Eagles after a very bumpy 2012 season. His offensive line ripped apart by injuries, the 32-year-old had his worst campaign since taking over as the team’s starter. He sustained a concussion in November against the Cowboys, lost his job to Nick Foles, and then was forced into action in the regular-season finale — a 42-7 loss to the Giants. Fed up by the group’s lack of effort, he ripped into his teammates once the 4-12 season had mercifully come to an end.

“If guys cared, if they focused their attention on something other than what’s going on around them [it could have been different],” said Vick. “It’s all about focus and dedication and commitment, and until you get guys who are willing to better themselves week in and week out, and want to win, you’re not going to win. I just haven’t played with guys like that, and it’s unfortunate for Coach [Reid] that things turned out the way they are and they could have been a lot better, and this locker room could have dictated that.”

Asked if he wanted to return to the Eagles in 2013, Vick responded, “I don’t know.”

He sounded ready leave Philadelphia behind, just as the team was seemingly ready to part with Vick and his rich contract.

Time helped soothe his frustrations, and the quarterback’s mentality really shifted after talking to Kelly. According to a source close to Vick, the two have had a couple meetings now, and Vick came away very high on the former Oregon coach.

Kelly told reporters down at the Senior Bowl: “I really liked my meeting with Michael.”

None of this guarantees that Vick will be back in an Eagles uniform next season. Kelly needs to not just like Vick, but be convinced that he is the right quarterback to run his offense moving forward. Kelly wants to really study the tape before making a decision. If he comes away certain that Vick is his guy, the next conversation is about the money. Vick is scheduled to make around $16 million next season. There was a report a few weeks back that the signal-caller would be unwilling to restructure his deal. However, that was when the wounds from a trying season were still fresh, and before he got to sit face-to-face with Kelly. It is very possible that tune could change, especially after honest evaluation of his market value.

As has been reported elsewhere, the $3 million guarantee set to kick in on February 6 is really only a factor if no other team pays him that amount this season, meaning that the Eagles have some more time to make their decision. Kelly has not hinted which way he is leaning when it comes to Vick. But we at least know that Vick seems to be on board (money aside) if Kelly calls his number.

Is it me or is all the talk about Mike Vick, Geno Smith, Tyrod Taylor etc? Is Shaggy Foles even on the team? I mean I havent read one article from any news source about Shaggy being at the Nova care Complex and coach Kelly talking to him. Surely Shaggy Foles is working out and studying film and meeting wiht the new coach isnt he? I mean he has 3 less starts than Kapernick for goodness sake. What are the Eagles doing I thought that stiff Vick would be released today whats there to evaluate. Seems like Vick is evaluating if he wants to even stay here. Why would he hes behind Shaggy Ive been told? If I was Shaggy I would be highly upset and wondering why Vicks name, Taylors name, and countless others are being mentioned. Ive beenn told I was the future. WTF is going on? More Shaggy Foles articles please, I want to know what hes up to.

dag — Kelly isn’t interested in Foles. People can bring up all the past articles about what Chip said about Foles in Arizona, but the fact of the matter is, if Kelly was truly infatuated with Foles and wanted him to be his starting QB, he would have said that by now. He would have said it in his press conference. Kelly knows that the best chance to win is to have a QB that is experienced with the NFL, can run, and can throw. How well he does those things is besides the point.

I doubt Chip wants to hitch his wagon to Foles (who Andy Reid drafted) for the foreseeable future. He’s probably looking at Vick and seeing a 33 year old QB who probably, at best, only has a couple years left in the tank but still has some game left in him. By going with Vick, he can draft HIS future QB and install that QB into the system when Vick either goes down or eventually gets cut.

The way I see it is, if Chip goes with Foles, he pretty much has to give him time to progress. Time to evolve.

I doubt he wants to do that with a QB that he never drafted in the first place.

haveacigar, its about the movement going forward. Get use to guys like Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Eli Manning, Joe Flacco, etc. becoming extinct. There aren’t many left. The NFL QB position is evolving. Vick was ahead of his time. (Same can be said for Randall/Steve Young).

Now guys like Aaron Rodgers (who does have wheels), Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, RG3 — this is the new NFL and these are the guys that will embody the QB position moving forward.

Ok so starting TODAY a qb who slides the pocket, extends plays behind the LOS are extinct? Sorry I don’t see it. Kaepernick and rg3 will quickly stop using their legs so much, they have to… They have really big, mean guys chasing them, trying to kill them. And their arms are so good them being a threat on read option to run… I can’t see it. Hell one year in and rg3 has major knee surgery. Flacco has never missed a game at any level!

I think Flacco moves pretty good for a guy his size, the touchdown to Jones was because of his movement in the pocket he drew the safety up when he started to move forward in the pocket and that left the corner hung out to dry.

All my Hopes & Excitement about Coach AR & MM and the rest of that gang finally gone from Philly for once and for all and the News that the Eagles have Hired a new HC (Kelly) who brings some Ideas,Passion,Energy and Focus to the Franchise which is sorely needed, is now dampen with the news of Vick possibly staying with the Eagles.. Why ???

paulman — I’m actually for it. I want to see it. The offensive line coming back. A new system that will HOPEFULLY put the players in a better position to win by playing to their strengths and not making them do something they have no business doing (Vick throwing 50 times a game). An offense based around the running game.

I want to see it.

Kapernick on the Eagles and if you do the math its a top 5 offense. First I go to run game, as good as Gore is he doesn’t get more yards and damn sure doesn’t even get close to the same number of TDs as McCoy. So run game goes to Eagles. Lets look at WR noway Moss and Crabtree are better thaDJax and Maclin that’s not even close. Throw in slow footed Avant and the Eagles WR corp is superior.. I give a slight edge to Davis over Celek. The question I have is if the Eagles run more and pass more than SF how could SF have a better oline? I know they do but it doesn’t make sense. Its all about the QB. Am i wrong?

Kapernick is not on the Eagles, so why bother ..
Eagles WR Corps is not superior to anyone.. they don’t play and finish games, they don’t block well (except Avant), they disappear once inside the Red-Zone and their Yards After Catch/Contact sucks in my opinion..

San Fran has a stout offensive line. You do know the Eagles entire offensive line was hurt right? No QB can last behind that offensive line. Vick and Foles were perfect examples of that.

Thats crazy, the only thing I would take right now over SF is Shady over Gore and Henery over Akers. Thats it, and its not even close.
Qb is no brainer. If I could have Djax and Maclin or just Crabtree I would take Crabtree who I think will be the next big star at WR next year with Kaepernick. Vernon Davis over Celek, and thats not even close at all. SF has best Oline in game. Best Linebackers in NFL as well. SF corners and safeties over ours everyday of the week. That Dline with Justin Smith is clearly better than what we have here. SO yea SF all across the board for the most part and not even close. This Eagles roster sucks blow it up and start over.

Haha. I said DJax(1000 yard receiver) 2 time pro-bowler and on his way to a 75 catch 1200 yard season before he got hurt over Moss, Crabtree and who ever the hell is the 49ers 3rd receiver. I will take Maclin DJack and Avant over them 3.I do like Crabtree as 1 but I rank DJax, Maclin, Avant all above the rest of 49ers recievers. Vernon Davis, lets not make this like he has done so much more than Celek. look up the numbers. Shady over Gore, really not that close. Open your eyes and look at numbers. Eagles skilled position players are alot better than 49ers. It all comes down to QB.

Not a good day to be tooting the 49ers defensive horn. Wasn’t too impressed yesterdaor against Atlanta. I did watch the Eagles defense play Baltimore and I watched the 49ers play them as well. Looked about the same to me. But of course Im kidding to a extent.

Yes, Dag those same Cbs too. Not saying they are best in the league. Just better than ours. My eyes are open which I why I take in account Reid passing a million times a game compared to Harbaugh who use to let Alex Smith throw about 20-25 passes a game. Obviously, that will alter the numbers but just based on my eye test I would take the receiving corps of Crabtree, Davis, Moss, Walker, (they did have Manningham for most of year too) over Djax, Maclin, Avant Celek.

Was D-Jax Averaging 10 Catches and a 100 Yards Receiving a Game this Season
To compare the Eagles Offense to the 49ers is sheer lunacy.. 1 Team couhgs up the ball at an alarming rate, has many penalities, has many negative plays a gam and has wussies on their Team that consistently miss 3-4-5-6 Games everry Season and is 12-22 over their 34 NFL Football Games.. The Eagles are comparable to the Buffalo BIlls, the Carolina Panthers,Cleveland Browns.. Stop continuing the denial that this Eagles Offense is good, for it is not..

You don’t like DJax so of course everything he does is just wrong to you Paulman. You swore up and down he wouldn’t be resigned and when he was it just ruined your world. Get over it. No at 160 pounds he isn’t running over anyone or out muscling anyone and yes hes hitting the ground fast WTF do you expect? He was on pace for 70 and 1200 yards those are the facts. Hes the only one of 2 pro bowl WR in the last 25 years for the Eagles and all you can do is find fault with him. Try criticizing one of the othr 50 WR that did shit here the last 25 years. When the Eagles oline was intact this offense set franchise records on offense so look at both sides of the coin. The oline and turnovers killed this team this year but to act like their are no weapons is ridiculous because of your venom for certain players.

Thank you daggolden that post is the truth for too many posters on this site they let their biases dictate the nonsense that they write. I myself can get like that I don’t like Foles and I let my bias get in the way but now if he is indeed who Chip Kelly wants at QB then lets go Nick. paulman hate DJax more then Vinnie hates Vick. Kid weighs 175lb’s and made the pro bowl as a receiver and a punt returner but he has no heart easy to say from the comfort of his living room.

No I don’t like him and think he’s a good #3 WR/SPecial Team player and not worth a $8-$10 Million per Season Salaray..
I’ve stated for 4 Years now, Play him 40 Snaps a Game, have him return Punts/Kick-offs and take him off the Field once inside 25 Yard Line and in short-yardage/Running situations and he would average about the same #’s as far as Production wise (45-55 Receptions 800 Yds and 2-4 TD’s a Year.. Woopy do,… Only about 40-50 other WR’s in th NFL every Season put up this same Production every year and 80% for a lot less in the NFL

Paulman look into that mind of yours. Your a smart man. You understand that they ran DJax 50 yards down field to clear out space for the other recievers. You know that’s what happened. You understand if they wanted to run DJax on 5 yard patterns and quick outs thiers not a dback on earth that could cover him. Do you really think he couldn’t catch 80 balls a year? I think you would have to limit his shit across the middle with his size some but the days of running him down field deep every other play hopefully is over.

Why is what he’s getting paid bother you paulman? Does it bother you that the Eagles were 27 million under the cap but didn’t have guys on the roster to back up the oline injuries or replace two of the worst safeties in the history of football and let’s not even talk about special teams.

Big,, dont even address the Fraudman. Hes the same guy that was raving about the secondary of the 49ers not too long ago, so dont expect this guy to know what hes talking about haha.. But about his hate for DJax, alot of it has to do with his outward appearance. Im sure the Fraud calls DJax a thug, a young punk, among other words. He doesnt like guys that “look” the way DeSean does, hat turned backwards, tattoos, alot of money, oh and hes black… He ignores the fact that DeSean has the potential to blow the top off a defense on any given play and that he allows his teammates to get there stats up because he demands a double team, teams always roll there coverage his way.. But a guy like the Fraud ignores that stuff..

I keep hearing and seeing posts about how D-Jax Demands double Coverages therefore opening up the field for other players to make Stats and plays and when at look at at the last 34 Games the Eagles have played since end of 2010
They are still 12-22 with a losing Record. Where’s all these great Stats by the other Receivers and QB’s and the Eagles Offense as a whole
I don’t see it anywhere..
