- The Sixers hung tough with the Nets through the first two quarters, going into the half down by only 10. However, the wheels would fall apart in the third quarter when the Sixer defense got lit up for 42 points.
- Joe Johnson was the latest opposing player to have a career-night against this team. Johnson poured in 37 points, connecting on 10 three-point shots.
- The Nets were expected to be a good team this year, but they entered tonight’s tilt with just one more win on the season then Philadelphia. Dominance of this level was a result of a lack of effort from the Sixers.
- As a team, Brooklyn connected on 21 three’s.
- James Anderson led the Sixers with 17 points off of the bench. Anderson also had three rebounds, three assists, and a steal.
- Spencer Hawes scored just 2 points tonight in 26 minutes of action.

Final Thoughts
Watching this game, it was discouraging to see how little fight that the Sixers put into tonight’s match.
Right now, this team is a much different group from the one that started the season with a victory over the Miami Heat.
They’ve lost 19 of their last 23 games, and the lack of talent and depth has really begun to show itself and take a toll on the spirit of this club. They look like a team that’s just going through the motions out there. Guys are dragging themselves from one end of the floor to the other. Everybody is taking bad shots. Nobody is defending.
The team is an ugly mess right now. But that’s the way it was meant to be.

The Sixers have just 6 real NBA basketball players. MCW, Wroten, Turner, Young, Hawers, and Anderson. Remove one they are left with five and lose by 20 points.
They’re resting MCW for a reason. They like the position they are in right now. They have the 3rd WORSE record in the NBA. 3rd worse (I knew Mr Hinkie would step in because they started winning too many games). So now that they have arrived here, no sense in trying to win your way out of it. Lets be clear, this team is not contending for a title this year even if they ended up in the playoffs. I like there fight and never quit or lay down attitude but don’t fight this. Stay right around in the 3rd worse record in the league and yo’ull be in prime position to take the top pick in this draft. If not the top pick but at least whined up in the top 3..
