In the light of the terrrible situation Andy Reid and his family find themselves in, I think the NFL needs to step in and limit the amount of time that coaches can be forced to spend at their teams facility.
There's an unwritten rule that a coach can't leave the office until his boss has left. I could have gotten into coaching when I retired but I didn't want to do it because I saw the way coaches lived, or didn't live. Choosing coaching meant walking away from my kids. You couldn't be a normal human being and be a football coach. The Andy Reid situation is just the tip of the iceburg when it comes to trouble in NFL homes.
