Jeff sorry to say it but if the draft falls like this then howie’s best bet is to trade out of the first rd period only players I’m taking in the 1st @22 is cooks,Barr or ha ha I’m not real high on safety’s but he is versatile.
Are you comfortable going into 2015 with only Boykins and Carroll at CB? Carry Williams (8.166, 668), Fletcher a free agent…
We went from letting Samuel going for a 7th rder because we were “stacked” at CB with what we thought were pro bowlers, to potentially being very thin at the position in 2015 if we don’t starting adding.
It does not have to be in rd 1, but by rd 3 we need to land a good starting caliber CB.
So Kyle Fuller doesn’t go in the 1st round? Are you nuts?
Not nuts, missed it completely, he will absolutely go in round 1, I have him ranked as my 3rd best cb.
I’m good no cb that they draft this year no matter who it is there not gonna play this year anyway unless the top 4 get hurts so whoever they draft there is really somebody they will be getting ready for 2015. The only position that would give a huge contribution this year is a WR. So take a cb in rds 2-5 and get them ready for 2015 I would’ve even care if they took Aaron Colvin in the 7th rd I would be happy with that pick.
And Colvin will be there in the 7th because he really isn’t any good….I don’t know why you keep mentioning him……
My Mock Draft
1. Houston Texans- DE-Jadeveon Clowney
2. St. Louis Rams- OT-Greg Robinson
3. Jacksonville Jaguars- QB-Johnny Manziel
4. Cleveland Browns- QB-Blake Bortles
5. Oakland Raiders- WR-Sammy Watkins
6. Atlanta Falcons- LB-Khalil Mack
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers-QB Teddy Bridgewater
8. San Fran (trade from Minnesota Vikings)- Mike Evans
9. Buffalo Bills- OT-Jake Mathews
10. Detroit Lions-Dennard
11. Tennessee Titans- Anthony Barr
12. New York Giants- Zack Martin
13. St. Louis Rams- S-Ha Ha Clinton Dix
14. Chicago Bears- CB-Kyle Fuller
15. Pittsburgh Steelers –WR Odell Beckham
16. Dallas Cowboys- DT– A. Donald
17. Baltimore Ravens- LB-CJ Mosely
18. New York Jets-WR- B Cooks
19. Miami Dolphins-OT Cyrus Couandijio
20. Arizona Cardinals-Dee Ford
21. Green Bay Packers- OLB– Ryan Shazier
22. Philadelphia Eagles-S– Pryor (however I think Lee might be who they like more)
Obviously there will be more trades up/down. I just really think San Fran makes a splash and moves way up to get a stud on offense, they are so close to the Superbowl and have a ton of picks. They will use them to trade up.
I see Pitt taking WR, Giants Oline, no way does CJ Mosley get by Ravens, Jets will go WR
And i think Manziel, Bortles, Bridgewater all go in top 10
Hey Paul there will be more than one trade in the top 20 also if the draft fell that way howie better trade down ASAP.
My next to final mock draft for the eagles.

You can flip flop the last to picks
I want Anthony Barr at #1….period, even if it takes moving up a few spots. If the Eagles do trade up, I suspect it would be for him because I don’t think he will last til 22!
Eagle, Barr is a speed rusher only, that is not skilled anywhere else. He can’t stop the run, he can’t drop in coverage, & he isn’t big, nor strong enough to get off blocks, at the point of attack. Why everyone is getting all chunked up over him, is beyond me. He has huge bust potential. I want no parts of him, especially with a trade up. It’s asinine. He’s a name only.
DCAR, I disagree with you, I think Barr can drop into coverage. He will get stronger and more polished , improving his game. I don’t look at him as a finished product. I draft him based on measurables and on projecting what I think he can be in 2 years. A pro bowl talent. I’m basing my evaluation of him off of two years of following him play. We will see in two to three years. He’s my guy, if he busts, well, I was wrong. If he pans out….:-). I believe the latter will happen.
Eagles, if you followed him, you know he’s a liability in coverage, & rarely did so. You don’t draft someone based on measurable’s, or you wind with a combine warrior. Haven’t we learned from past mistakes? We’ll see?
He has the ability athleic wise, he just needs more coaching and time in the system. Keep in mind, he’s only played the postion for two years. He will be fine. I’m certain and confident in my projection based off of what I’ve seen. The talent is there, it just have to be molded and honed in on.
Eagle, he was just a RB 2 years ago, & having the athletic ability, doesn’t mean he’s able to do it. He has never done it. You don’t waste a pick on projects. We need versatile players, that can everything well. The only thing he does well, is speed, edge pass rusher. Don’t get caught up on draft hype names. If you did, watch him, you’d know he can’t stop the run, & can’t drop in coverage. He isn’t big, nor strong enough, to break blocks at the point of attack. He has no moves, & tries to beat everybody with speed. There is a reason why, he dropped from a possible top 7-10, to in the 20’s. I want no parts of him. Give me a top notch WR, Safety, or CB. If they draft a QB, TE, or O-lineman in the 1st, they need to be run out of town!
DCAR, I hear you. We just see his talent/ability differently.I hope some how the Eagles get him. Then I can watch him develop into the playmaker Ibelieve he is. 23 sacks in 2years at OLB after converting from a running back. I’ll take my chances, as no one is a sure thing.
Exactly DCar….I see you’re thinking like GMCliff on some of these prospects…
Only two teams I see taking him titans and Vikings after that maybe the cards but if think they go cb or qb so he might fall right in there lap.
#coxmustgo I don’t care if it’s for a 2nd and 5th rd picks

I know I know I’m crazy
Damn Gloomy, does that “Trade-Chart” of yours have an Expiration Date… 🙂
Yeah Paul 2015 this trade is going down sf needs a wr and a cb they will get both in the 1st rd with this trade and fill other holes with the rest of there picks.
I’m sticking with this.
This is what I’m convinced is going to happen. Birds trade #22 & Vinny Curry to the Dolphins for Dion Jordan, & 2nd rounder- #50 & 6th rounder- #190. Graham to the Falcons for 4th rounder- #139. Bryce Brown to the Ravens for 4th rounder- #138. That gives us-
2- #50- WR Jordan Matthews.
2(2)- #54- WR Davante Adams.
3- #86- CB/Safety Keith McGill.
4- #122- OG Cyril Richardson.
4(2)- #138- ILB Shayne Skov.
4(3)- #139- NT Daniel McCullers.
5- #162- DE Will Clarke.
6- #190- CB Dontae Johnson.
7- #237- OT Justin Britt.
That would be awesome except for Guard Cyril Richardson who is 340 lbs and way too soft and concerned about his long term conditioning ..
paul, nothing that a few seaweed, & grass smoothies can’t fix. He’s too talented to pass on, if he falls to #122. We need quality depth at OG, so a 4th wouldn’t be that bad of a move.
He’s played in Baylor’s uptempo Tempo so he should be able to handle Chip Kelly’s pace… but Baylor is where Danny Watkins played and received his Coaching as did another 1st Round Bust at OT in Andre Smith … Good Grief…
paul, I think you just changed my mind. RAAAAALFFFF!!!!
Just looking out for you Bro… ha …
Take Guard Brandon Thomas, Trai Turner and your mock is excellent
Dcar that’s not a bad mock I want Jordan I just don’t think the dolphins want to take that 10mill hit.
gloomy, I just spoke with my Brother from Jacksonville again, & he told me, that it’s all over the news & radio, that the Birds & Miami are discussing a blockbuster again. Curry/ Graham, #22 +, for Jordan & #19. We shall see?
I would think the Dolphins would want Guard Mathis instead of Curry/Graham.. They need to solidify their OL and have a pretty Def Line
Yes they are still talking about that here DCAR
Timeout so the eagles are gonna also move up in this trade and all they have to give up is curry if that’s the case I’ll pack curry bags and drive him to the airport myself.
gloomy, it would be Curry, #22, & a 3rd, for Jordan, & #19. Basically we get Jordan, & possibly Dix/ Gilbert/ Beckham, for #22 & our 3rd. Curry is a non fit, & basically is a non-factor. The 3rd we can get back for Graham. And we can probably get a 4th, & 5th for Mathis & Brown. I’d make that trade in a heartbeat.
Can we sneak Barkley in there as well?
If it’s true I would make the deal also we will see I Dout it happens but I would do the deal.
And we’re not getting a 3rd for graham maybe a 4th
Also if they did that deal If I was howie after that I would trade down and pick up extra 3rd or 4th.
Giants and Cowboys both want Manziel. it’s looking like were going to have Johnny football in our division one way or the other..
Jesus ur a weirdo. Reading ur posts it sounds like you want manziel and not on the eagles but all to urself.
Eagles aren’t getting him. Why aren’t u focusing on what they’re gonna do or who they are gonna get. ? Everything is manziel obsession.
Give it a rest
So?
Jeff Kolsky – I heard Ryan Clark on ESPN say Justin Gilbert, your mock draft Eagle pick, is an Asante Samuel type corner. Perfect for the cover 2 system. Where he sits back like a predator and attacks the ball. Not a press corner.
I dont get caught up in the mock drafts so I ll give you some names of guys I’ve mentioned on here the past few months that I would want the Birds to somehow get. All the names I’ve mentioned that I really like…
Johnny Football
Mack
Clowney
Barr
Odell Beckham Jr
Ha Ha
Pryor
Kyle Van Not
Kelvin Benjamin
Keith Mcgill
Baptiste
DeAnthony Thomas
McCullers
Jerick McKinnon
Whoops I also mentioned CJ Mosely, do it all LB outta Bama.
Let The Games Begin!
Could Kendricks be traded? I’m hearing thats a possibility.. I hope its not true…
CSN Philly released a stat where Kendricks led the NFL in missed tackles at 21, ouch.
Hes also not a “Chip guy”.. Chip did not draft him.. And that stat hurts… e0s
Kendricks hasn’t reached his full potential yet, and the question is, in this style of defense will he ever?
Who could the Bills be picking? probably Mack or one of these WRs
