Chip Kelly and his squad are about 3/4’s the way through their first practice and quarterback Sam Bradford is taking all the reps with the first team and Mark Sanchez is working with to the two’s. Bradford has looked sharp in the drills and he started things out with a nice strike to Josh Huff on a curl route.
The former St. Louis Ram is wearing a sleeve on his knee, but he’s not wearing that cumbersome brace, which seems to hamper the movement of anybody wearing it.
Unfortunately a little while later, Bradford was picked off by the new starter at cornerback, Nolan Carroll, who made a very nice break on the ball to pull it in.
Chip Kelly has Bradford carrying out the fake on the zone option plays, but there’s not a defensive player in the league, who is dumb enough to think that Bradford is going to run a keeper with his leg problems.
Tim Tebow continues to work on his delivery and he’s throwing the ball well.
Rookie cornerback JacCorey Shepherd seems to be first in line for Brandon Boykin’s vacated nickel back position.
