Report: Jason Peters Pulled Himself Out Of Game

Philadelphia Eagles - Friday Mini-CampJason Peters has had trouble staying on the field all season.

He’s dealt with injuries throughout the season, but there was also a report earlier in the season that Peters would not dress as a backup for Chip Kelly.

Now this morning, a new report has surfaced indicating that Peters actually pulled himself from the game in the fourth quarter.

Peters clearly has been dissatisfied with Chip Kelly and the way things have gone down with this team over the last year.

Any time a player removes himself from a game, even a blowout loss, it says a lot about how much respect he and others in the locker room have for the head coach.

First thought was wow peters is a damn loser and should be cut today.

2nd thought was chip gotta go thos whispers about losing the team are real. He stripped us of all our talent and got us this gutless fuckface Bradford and gave away our 2nd round pick for a total loooser.

Fire this pompous, clueless, self sabotaging asshole!!!

Chip has turned us into the Browns

Its time to move on from Peters…we have to revamp the offensive line…he played terrible against the Skins…he’s been getting beat by mediocre pass rushers…time to hang em up Peters!

Chip Kelly is going nowhere, he’s not getting fired…Lurie is going to give him another year to right the ship. He committed to Kelly when he gave him the juice to be the GM….so he’s not going to fire him…so the calls to fire Kelly are a waste of time and energy

Lurie’s not going to do it

The Eagles have to upgrade the talent around Sam Bradford…give him two starting caliber wide receivers that can get open down the field and can catch the ball.

We would have been a playoff team with competent wideouts…

Agholor gets another year to improve off of a tough rookie year…Josh Huff is a special teams player downgrade him to fourth string…keep Matthews of course…and . No more hanging on to that racist ass-Riley Cooper who should have been cut last year for his despicable remarks-he cant catch the ball, he runs terrible routes, he has no speed at all,….he cant play!

Get rid of him

The offensive line needs upgrading…we need a tackle and two guards…the draft should be devoted to upgrading these positions

As to the defense…time to fire Bill Davis…he just has not got the job done and has been too slow to adapt and adjust…

Riley Cooper should be cut now!

Good! No one with any hope for the Eagles wants Kelly fired.

I want that fraud back for one more year. Need him back for one more. The collapse isn;t final enough yet.

Only hope for this team is one more year of Kelly (hopefully with Sanchez, but Krapernick or RGme doesn’t matter – results will be the same) to flounder completely to 2-14.

Can’t cut waste of space players like Maxwell or Murray till after next season anyway…and they’ve lost the second round pick on the twig…….so no point making a regime change now….cupboard is bare, and there aren’t enough resources to start stocking the shelves anyway.

Hopefully Kelly will use the 1st and 2 thirds on Olinemen and one or two will develop. Team collapses to 2-14 and Eagles can start anew.

Its the only way.

Love that you are still hanging on to Sam “garbage time” Bradford though. Nice!

But… But.. Riley Cooper is the GREATEST blocking wideout in the history of football.

You need to get your head checked. Why would we cut such a stud.

I doubt Kelly is fired.

Lurie has never been quick to pull the “Fire” lever on a coach.

Kelly will not be fired…this year. At the same time in 365 + more days I can see it happening. There are to many holes on this team and not enough resources to fill them during the off season. Kelly will also have to figure out how to make his offense work with the players he has now. No guarantee that drafted players or FA’s will make an impact to turn this team around. The question for me is will Charles Kelly fire Billy Davis and release Riley Cooper…lol…I am not so sure he will…just a feeling. I believe this team will regress again in 2016. If Kelly is smart he will start G Malcolm Bunche and Josh Andrews to see if they can play on this level…perhaps that may be 1 less resource you have to allocate to the o line. Two WR’s and an OLB who can really rush the passer is needed as well as another corner and safety. As far as the QB…Sam Bradford makes some good plays, however, he just does not win…there may be a lot of reasons as to why this is, but, sometimes some guys just don’t win…this has been the case over Bradford’s NFL career as his record is 24-37-1 overall.

Peters thing goes back to other games where he said he was hurt and did not play hmmmm wonder oh well obvious Chip lost players longgggggggggggggg time ago. What Chip has done to this team will cost fans and franchise bigtime in $$ and time he single handily destroyed this team like he was a closet cowboy fan and did this crap on purpose! I can do without Kiko, Cooper ,Huff,Kendricks, Ryans, Biggers,Bradford, Murray Bill Davis, and last but not least Chump Kelly

I’ll tell u one glaring thing I see with this team and its players they don’t physically look like a football team with a lot of their players just small in size wt, etc what the hell happen to big guys beat up on little guys this Kelly is on big bullshit story all smoke and mirrors!

This story is bullshit Peters was hurt which is why some truck driver was using him as a turnstile he had no leverage or strength on his left side. However he’s in Vickville can’t stay healthy you can’t stay time to move on. LLCB won’t be fired so we’re in this mess for the next couple years.

Everyone glosses over the Qb move but that was probably the biggest mistake by Kelly. He had a Qb that was very successful but exchanged him for a loser, saddles the franchise with debt and gives up a second round pick all for a mediocre Qb with a proven track record of sub par performances

There is no doubt Foles would have done much Than This skinny ass gumby

Kelly needs to go and I believe The owner will fire his sorry ass. He’s a faggot besides and I wouldn’t put it past Bradford to play on that team

I can’t stand this Eagles franchise

Lmao….yeah okay Jake. The only part of your dumb-ass post that has any merit is “Kelly needs to go”. The rest reads like a schoolgirl crush on the hs qb (Foles) who happens to stink. The only part of the Foles deal that was bad was the inexperience and stupidity of the gm (Kelly) not being able to leverage more out of St Louis. A smart gm would not have given up that 2nd. That being said, it ain’t even close, Foles is not only not better than Bradford but apparently not the best on his team. He had the keys given to him and proceeded to wreck the car.

You cannot compare production in two different organizations. Compare when they played here when coaching was roughly the same. It’s not even close. Foles is a winner. I do not like him or his family background his father is a huckster rich guy but the guy can play

You cannot figure in his play in the Rams too much. That organization stinks.

As someone who supported Foles the whole time he was here, I don’t buy your bs spin. Foles had more than an ample opportunity to prove those inflated stats and wins against suspect competition in 13 were half way legit. He had the advantage of playing with far better offensive talent here than Bradford. He shyt the bed in 14 as well. Now he gets a better team again in St Louis. Now you want to ignore his failures again…lol.
And I have news for you. The rams have a sb. We don’t. Until we produce one we haven’t earned the right to say any other Lombardi producer stinks.

This says it all
EAGLES WRAP:Thoughts on the Chip Kelly Cliff Plunge that was the 2015 Season:
1. A disaster, start to finish, with Patriots Fools Gold win inserted to tease
2. Poor talent selections at WR. Wasted 2/3 high draft picks on Huff, Aghalor. Matthews a serviceable #3WR
3. Maddening to load up tons of $$ on needless Murray signing with adequate RB Matthews and Sproules
4. OL terrible all year: Peters quit on team tonight, All Pro by reputation only
5.Alonzo trade worst ever for all time ground gainer Shady. He is either permanently destroyed physically, mentally or both. Small, can’t tackle or cover. A waste of space on the field
6. Who missed Byron Maxwell today? Torched all year. Can we find a sucker team to unburden the Eagles of his onerous contract?
Simply: FIRE CHIP NOW. Why?….
Chip’s arrogance about his players being good enough is as maddening as the game itself. He destroyed the core of talented skill players left to him by Andy Reid. By insisting on acquiring players with severe ACL tears in Alonzo and Bradford, he brought in players who were no longer athletically suited to play their positions. His one trick pony offense of no-huddle has become an afterthought. He should be relegated back to college, where he can become a paper tiger again. Set this franchise back 5 years.
Sweep out his Stepford Wife coaching staff, ultimate yes men affirming the idiocy of his basic failed offense, strips the QB of autonomy of audibling, demeaning to professionals.
Billy Davis and overmatched D Coaches without a resume for success, another dart board failure choice by Chip, with riddled carcasses in his wake.
The Philly fans, proudly showing up passionately for each game, deserve much better from the ownership, must have the courage to pull the plug on the Kelly experiment, after being Ducked to death all season.
