With the playoffs out of the picture now that the Minnesota Vikings have beaten the Chicago Bears, the Birds have got to start getting their house in order. They've got to take an inventory of their personnel and that means taking a look at their youngsters.
The Birds should take a look at all of their younger players and see how they perform in real NFL action. They won't be able to make a total judgement by these games.I would take a look at everybody.
I'd put Kevin Kolb on the field and get an idea of what he can do under fire. What happens after he gets hit? Does he recover after making mistakes? Is the game too fast for him?
I'd also like to see Victor Abiamiri get in there and play quite a few snaps. I want to see Abiamiri in there during an entire half or game. Can he do anything as a pass rusher?
I'd also like to see Stewart Bradley in there at middle linebacker because he's bigger and more physical than Omar Gaither. I would like to see Bradley in the middle and Gaither outside.
We know Tony Hunt has problems picking up the blitz, but can he run the rock with authority on short yardage or goalline.
