The Eagles are a 5-1 football team and they’re sitting in the driver’s seat in the NFC East and in the NFC.  They are only team that is undefeated both in the NFC East and in the NFC.  With the loss last night by the Kansas City Chiefs, they now have the best record in all of National Football League.

Don’t start celebrating though, because it’s still very early.  Eagles wide receiver Torrey Smith, who won a Super Bowl title with the Baltimore Ravens, talked about teams in the past that had gotten off to a hot start in the first half of the season, then faded in the second half.

In the following video, Carson Wentz and Fletcher Cox talk about not being satisfied with a fast start and what they need to do to continue the success.

Wentz took a lot of hits last Thursday vs Carolina, tough kid. This is the QB I envisioned when they selected him. ( 6 rushes for 25 yards vs Panthers) Keep extended and keep running. I think the best way for the birds to win this Monday vs Redskins is pass it 40+ times and as Randall Cunningham’s book and come back hat once said … Scrambling.

I still remember that fateful game against Green Bay. Had a lot of hope that season until Bryce Paup went low on Randall. Amazing that we went 10-6 with gimpy Jim McMahon, Jeff Kemp, and Pat Ryan.

with Carolina getting beat Sunday by the Bears 17-3 & Arizona losing to the Rams 33-0; The last 2 Eagle wins don’t look as impressive. 3 points total the Cards and Panthers put up today combined, ouch.

Eagles ZERO continues to be stupid… I guess there is no cure

The birds could be the browns and opt for dumb dumb Deshone Kizer who was out partying like a fool before a game in which he got benched!
I think we can guarantee that mr. Meh won’t be doing that

Completely different situations. Falcons were desperate for a spark on the road knowing they only had so much time before Brady got going. Eagles WERE IN CONTROL of the Giants game, and invited giants to come right back in…doug was so lucky giants bailed him out by fucking up on the goalline

Fact of the matter is the conventional wisdom of kick it away every single fourth down is eroding… belichik has done it on 4 and 5 etc…. it was s much more common place
