Congratulations to Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz for being named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week. He threw four touchdowns and 267 yards in Philadelphia’s 34-24 win over the Washington Redskins. You can’t say enough about some of the plays he made in the Eagles win.
Miraculously, the second-year signal caller was able to escape a sack on a third and eight play. It looked like he was being taken down by a couple of Redskins linebackers, when all of a sudden he breaks out of the pile and run for 17 yards.
On another player with pass rushers in his face, he was able to spot running back Corey Clement running down the right sideline. Again out of the pile, he somehow threw a stride to Clement for a touchdown.
With the Eagles sporting the best record in the NFL at 6-1, Wentz is putting himself in position to be the league’s Most Valuable Player.
”Meh”–middling QBs are sometimes named player of the week.
He looks like a perennial playoff QB like Rodgers and Roethlisberger. Big test this week. We will see how he handles playing with a below average LT, RT, & LG this week. This OL is no longer great so he’ll have to make timing throws this week like Peyton and Brady instead of of gunslinging like he has been like Roethlisberger and Farve.
Funny negative nitwit!

Carson Wentz is 23 years old, 2 years older than Jarad Goff. If he really sits in 2016 then the Eagles will have a 24 year old rookie QB in 2017.
let me guess on April 23, 2016 Haveacigar wanted to wait and see?- as usual.
Don’t guess dummy… do the research
