After spending some time mulling over the decision, I'd like to see the Eagles draft a cornerback rather than a safety in the April draft. I know the great, possibly Hall Of Fame-bound Brian Dawkins is at or near the end of the road,
but I still would rather them draft a corner rather than a safety.
The reason I feel this way is the fact that a good corner is harder to find than a good safety. In addition I'd like to see them move Sheldon Brown from his right corner position over to the safety spot. Brown would a good fit at safety because he likes to hit and he is a good tackler. He has a complete knowledge of the secondary coverages and would eventually take over the leadership position when Dawk leaves.
Brown is a good corner but not a great oine because he doesn't have the speed of a top cornerback.
