Congratulations go out to Eagles secondary coach and former special teams guru has landed a head coaching job with the Baltiimore Ravens. Harbaugh was second in line but moved up to first when Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett turned down the Ravens.
Harbaugh will be taking Eagles quarterback coach Pat Shurmur to Baltimore to be his offensive coordinator and he'll retain Buddy Ryan's son Rex as his defensive coordinator.
Here are comments from Andy Reid about Harbaugh getting the job.
“I couldn’t be happier for John and his entire family,” said Eagles head coach Andy Reid. “He has worked very hard to become a head coach in the National Football League. I know how much this means to him. He is very deserving of this opportunity and we will miss him in Philadelphia. John is a good friend, a great coach, and he has played a vital role in the success we have shared here. I wish him all the best in Baltimore.”
