McNabb Is Confident His Leg Is Fine

Donovan McNabb got his work in and it was another good day for him and the team's offense. McNabb spoke to the media after the workout and made it clear that he feels his leg is fine.  He said his work with his teammates has made him that much more confident that he'll be able to return to action eventually at full strength.

Donovan answered question after question about his knee and it's condition.  He said he will continue to push the knee but wasn't willing to guarantee when he would return to action.  McNabb said he had spoken to fellow QB Daunte Culpepper after the knee injury and I wouldn't be surprised if Donovan was none committal because Culpepper had made the mistake of returning to action too soon.

McNabb said he had decided to workout with the team after consulting with his doctor, coach Reid, and head trainer Rick Burkholder.  He's already doing two days because he works out in the morning then ices down his leg and gets in another workout with the team.  Personally I expect him to be taking the snaps with the first team from the start of training camp.

He did admit to have some swelling and soreness after each workout this week but McNabb said that it wasn't very substantial. Andy said Donovan made all of rollouts, drob backs and throws that they will need to him to make during the season.
